Cairns Hot Air Ballooning options and locations

Hot air ballooning takes place in the Mareeba Valley approximately 1 hours scenic drive by coach. The Mareeba valley is known as the most popular location in Australia for hot air ballooning flights with breathtaking views over the Atherton Tablelands first light. From your balloon see Kangaroos, local fauna and panoramic views.

1. 30 MINUTES HOT AIR BALLOON FLIGHT & CROSS COUNTRY BALLOON CHASE: Includes FREE pick up and drop off at your hotel Cairns/Northern Beaches. This is the most affordable option with pick up at approximately 4.15 am.

2. 30 MINUTES HOT AIR SCENIC BALLOON FLIGHT & EXPRESS RETURN TO CAIRNS: (approximately 8.30 am return to allow time to join other tours.) Includes FREE pick up approximately 4 am and drop off at your hotel Cairns/northern Beaches.

3. 60 MINUTES HOT AIR BALLOON FLIGHT: With FREE PICK UP and drop off at your Cairns and Northern Beaches Hotel.

Ballooning is not suitable for anyone who is pregnant. Flat enclosed shoes required, outdoor clothing. Our Cairns Beaches Information Centre is closest information centre to the Kuranda range road to Mareeba. Drop in the day before for self drive maps to Mareeba ballooning pick up point or contact us by phone or email for details to be sent to you without even leaving your arm chair.
